San Carlos de Bariloche

The name of the city come from Mountain chain found by a Jesuit to the south of the Tronador Hill, Vuriloche, and the name of Don Carlos Wiederhold, who was the first in build his house in the city.
It came out as "San Carlos" in a mistake of press of ends of the 19th century the indigenous word changed for Bariloche ". On May 3, 1902, by means of a presidential decree, one gives official character of foundation to the accession that takes the name of San Carlos de Bariloche. |
